On Wednesday, an estimated 400 million people tuned in to watch the Rockets play the Wizards on Asian Heritage night. Of course, 300 million of those people probably shut the TV off when Yao Ming went limping to the locker room. But that’s besides the point.
The Wizards pulled out a much-needed victory over a depleted Houston team missing its starting point guard and center. John Wall was nothing short of spectacular, and he got plenty of help from Al Thornton, Andray Blatche, and Yi Jianlian.
The play of the game came in the second quarter, when we got our first taste of what the John Wall-Gilbert Arenas backcourt is capable of. Please enjoy.
