Daily Wizardry

Where I sit writing this it’s raining very, very hard. The sky is a solid gray and the look on the faces of those walking by is one of cold, unified depression. Ironically, this is the weather on a day when the NBA’s lockout could finally clear itself up. Here are a few things people are saying around the league about it; most is cautious optimism. KEEP YOUR FINGERS CROSSED!

TrueHoop: Henry Abbott breaks down the likelihood of a 50/50 split. And by “likelihood” I mean “guaranteed singular option”.

New York Times: Howard Beck giving the details of yesterday’s meeting.

Yahoo! Sports: Adrian Wojnarowski delivers cautious confidence in a deal’s possibility happening any minute.

The Point Forward: Rick Barry is NO fan of Billy Hunter.

SB Nation: The mid-level exception seems to have replaced BRI as a major sticking point.
