Ben Mehic: Unlike Nithin, I won’t even get into whether or not the Wizards made the right selection when they picked Singleton 18th overall two years ago. I think we all know whether or not Singleton has lived up to expectations.

Singleton didn’t have a glamorous rookie season, but I certainly expected him to improve during his sophomore campaign. Needless to say, he didn’t. He was billed as a small forward coming out of college, but due to his inability to handle the ball, the Wizards were forced to transition him to the 4 spot.

I still think Singleton could contribute, but his lackluster sophomore year in the NBA isn’t doing him any good. He must improve during the off-season if he wants to continue playing in the NBA.

At this point in his young NBA career, Singleton has only been capable of contributing with hustle plays.

Grade: D
