The Washington Wizards have officially announced the signings of free-agents Eric Maynor and Garrett Temple.
On acquiring Maynor: Eric is a solid player who has thrived playing behind some of the league’s best point guard…He will bring stability and experience in that role and add leadership and character off the floor. On re-signing Temple:
Garrett was a good addition to our backcourt rotation last season and we are happy to have him back to give us depth at both guard positions…His defensive ability, toughness and team-first attitude make him an excellent fit in our system and provide a great example of the culture we are building.
The Wizards will likely release a statement officially announcing Martell Webster’s return to Washington soon.
Both Maynor and Temple were in the nation’s capital earlier this morning and met with some of the Wizards media. Maynor seems excited to play for the Wizards, especially since he played college ball at VCU. Temple also received some interest from other teams, but opted to stay with the Wizards.
Eric Maynor on joining the #wizards: "I’m happy to be back on the East Coast. It feels like I’m back home."

Unless Washington decided to acquire some talent through possible trades, I wouldn’t expect them to make any more moves during free-agency.
