Team USA Exhibition: Time, Rosters, and Prediction

Time: Tonight at 9:00 PM (EST) on NBA TV

For basketball junkies, tonight’s Team USA exhibition game taking place at the Thomas and Mack Center at UNVL will be a slice of basketball heaven.

Washington’s own, John Wall, will be teamed up with former Kentucky teammate DeMarcus Cousins as the ‘Blue Team’ will take on the Kyrie Irving led ‘White Team’. Even though it’s merely a game to entertain USA basketball fans, we’ll have a chance to look at the match-up between Wall and Irving for the first time since April of last year. Both guards are competing for a spot on the USA roster which will compete for gold in next year’s FIBA World Championship games.

White Team:

  • No. 24, Ryan Anderson (New Orleans Pelicans)
  • No. 20, Mike Conley (Memphis Grizzlies)
  • No. 25, Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons)
  • No. 33, Kenneth Faried (Denver Nuggets)
  • No. 29, Paul George (Indiana Pacers)
  • No. 27, Jrue Holiday (New Orleans Pelicans)

  • No. 35, DeAndre Jordan (Los Angeles Clippers)
  • No. 32, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (Charlotte Bobcats)
  • No. 21, Ty Lawson (Denver Nuggets)
  • No. 39, Chandler Parsons (Houston Rockets)
  • No. 38, Tyler Zeller (Cleveland Cavaliers)

Blue Team:

  • No. 46, Harrison Barnes (Golden State Warriors)
  • No. 36, DeMarcus Cousins (Sacramento Kings)
  • No. 42, Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans)
  • No. 41, DeMar DeRozan (Toronto Raptors)
  • No. 37, Derrick Favors (Utah Jazz)
  • No. 31, Gordon Hayward (Utah Jazz)
  • No. 22, Damian Lillard (Portland Trailblazers)
  • No. 62, Greg Monroe (Detroit Pistons)
  • No. 34, Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors)
  • No. 51, Dion Waiters (Cleveland Cavaliers)
  • No. 26, Kemba Walkers (Charlotte Bobcats)
  • No. 50, John Wall (Washington Wizards)

Bradley Beal is still unable to participate in contact basketball, which will leave him on the sidelines for tonight’s exhibition.

Both teams are filled with dynamic guards and athletic bigs, so It should be an entertaining game. I’ll obviously lean towards the ‘Blue Team’ for unbiased reasons, not including John Wall (ok, that might have been a bit biased).

I hope everyone enjoys some Team USA basketball action tonight!
