2013-14 Washington Wizards Tickets: Top 5 Home Games

The Washington Wizards have one of the best playmakers in the NBA in point guard John Wall who creates offense for both his teammates and himself. The Wizards just recently made a trade for Marcin Gortat who will be sure to help the team in the middle. Prices for Washington Wizards tickets have fallen 1.72% from last year’s $87.64 average to their new price of $86.13 per seat. With that in mind, here’s a look at the Wizards top 5 home games of the season:

1) 1/15 vs Miami Heat – Avg Price: $186 | Get-in: $21 | 116% above avg

The Wizards most expensive game of the season comes in their first meeting against the NBA Champion Miami Heat. Lebron James is the best player on the planet right now and as a result he and the heat are the biggest draw in the NBA when they come to town. This translates into tickets being $100 above the Wizards season average at $186 per ticket with a get in price of $21.

2) 4/14 vs Miami Heat – Avg Price: $178 | Get-in: $19 | 107% above avg

The Wizard’s second most expensive also comes against the Heat in their second trip to the nation’s capital on April 14th. John Wall will need to be in top form for the Wizards to have a chance to steal a victory in this matchup. At $178 per seat, fans will have to pay an average that is 107% above the Wizards normal prices.

3) 4/5 vs Chicago Bulls – Avg Price: $138 | Get-in: $19 | 60% above avg

On April 5th the Chicago Bulls come to town for what will be a fantastic matchup between Derrick Rose and John Wall, two of the best point guards in the Eastern Conference. Currently, tickets for this game are averaging $138 per ticket, up 60% from the Wizards 2013-14 home average.

4) 1/11 vs Houston Rockets – Avg Price: $137 | Get-in: $17 | 59% above avg

The Houston Rockets have assembled a very talented team by trading for James Harden last year and signing Dwight Howard in free agency this offseason. Marcin Gortat will have his hands full with Howard in this game and that matchup will be one of the keys to this contest. Tickets on the secondary market are averaging 59% above Washington’s season average at $137 for this game.

5) 2/1 vs Oklahoma City Thunder – Avg Price: $136 |  Get-in: $15 | 58% above avg

On February 1st the Oklahoma City Thunder make their only appearances in the nation’s capital against John Wall and crew. Kevin Durant always presents a mismatch for defenders with his size and athleticism, the Wizards will turn to Trevor Ariza to help keep Durant from taking over the game. Tickets are going for $50 above the Wizards season average on the secondary market at $136 with a Get-in as low as $15.
