Three-Point Contest participants: Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Damian Lillard, Joe Johnson, Bradley Beal, Marco Belinelli, Stephen Curry, Arron Afflalo

Akbar Naqvi:

I’m going to say Stephen Curry because his form does not require much lift, so he’ll be able to get through the racks without getting tired.

Prediction: Stephen Curry

________

Ben Mehic:

I think Marco Belinelli is going to surprise some people tonight. He’s currently 5th in three point percentage, and Bradley Beal said that he’s someone to look out for in the competition. I’m obviously hoping Bradley Beal wins, but the competition is certainly stiff. I know that everyone expects Stephen Curry or Kyrie Irving to come out on top, but I’ll go with the underdog–Bellinelli.

Prediction: Marco Belinelli

________

James Straton:

This is a 3-man race but it’s a race that is Stephen Curry’s to lose. He’s the best shooter of this generation (and maybe the best ever) and has a lightning fast release. It’s so fast, that it sometimes looks like he doesn’t have any form at all. But he does, and he’s winning.

Prediction: Stephen Curry

________

Omar Ajmeri:

This might be the most fun event to watch this weekend. Five of the six shooters are household names, and Belinelli is ranked 5th in the NBA in 3 point percentage at 44.8%. Curry is the obvious favorite, but I’m gonna take Bradley Beal in this one. He has been on fire lately and will definitely surprise some people.

Prediction: Bradley Beal
