The Washington Wizards stole Game 1 in Chicago, and they’ll look to steal another road game before heading back home to the nation’s capital.
Game 1 wasn’t pretty for either side, but behind Nene’s effort and contributions from some key veterans off the bench, Washington was able to get the job done. Chicago failed to score during the most important parts of the game, while Washington’s veterans helped seal the deal off the bench.
Both the Chicago Bulls and Wizards are scrappy teams and I have no doubt it’ll be a hard fought series. With that said, you won’t want to miss Game 2.
Here is how you could catch the game tonight:
Washington relied on their frontcourt for much of their success in game 1, so it’ll be interesting to see how John Wall and Bradley Beal play in the second playoff game of their young careers. Both Wall and Beal struggled in the first game, but Washington still managed to get the road win. Now that their playoff jitters are out of the way, you’d have to think both players are going to be called upon to contribute, especially on the offensive side of the floor.
How will Joakim Noah, who was thoroughly outplayed by Nene in the first game, respond after winning Defensive Player of the Year? Will the Bulls finally get some reliable scoring from one of their wing players?
I guess we’ll just have to tune in.
