After getting cut from Team USA along with his teammate John Wall, Bradley Beal didn’t waste time and got right back on the court. This time, he made his debut in The Goodman League, which often features NBA players from the area.
Here are the video highlights from Bradley Beal’s appearance ‘Inside da Gates’.
If I’m not mistaken, this was the first time Bradley Beal played at a Pro-AM league during the summer. His teammate, John Wall, gained some popularity for dominating the Pro-AM circuit during the 2011 lockout season. Often times, these Pro-AM games don’t have much structure or defense, but after watching the highlights, it looked like Bradley Beal had to actually make an effort to score 33-points. Oh, and Bradley Beal’s team won the game after coming back from a double-digit deficit. (h/t the Washington Post)
I’m not a huge fan of players playing for leagues outside of the one they’re paid to play for, especially when it’s outdoors, but I don’t think this will become a habit for Bradley Beal. He’s done all right things thus far in his career and playing in one game in The Goodman League shouldn’t make much of a difference.
It’s not in a Team USA jersey, but I hope you enjoy the Bradley Beal highlights nonetheless.
