Washington Wizards

There can’t be two teams – one that plays like a championship contender at home, then one that plays like they never saw a basketball when they’re away.

I didn’t want to believe that before tip-off, that the Wizards would let the crowd take them out of the game. That they would start off playing the game as if it was already decided – that this would game would be in the L column.

Wednesday was a must-win for Washington, and they didn’t play with any sense of urgency. None.

The Celtics were not playing a fast pace on Wednesday. In fact, they have very few fast players, if any, on their team.

More from Wiz of Awes

Wall must push the pace in Game 6, and especially in Game 7. Again, Washington bring the fight to them, stop letting them bring it to you.

Offensively, Washington’s shots were off all night.

You can’t have BT grabbing a rebound….ever.

Washington must start defending their man before they reach the timeline. That’s exactly what the Celtics do. They don’t take you out of rhythm, they don’t even let you start a rhythm.

Help, your man. There were a few times that Bradley Beal, according to the Celtics’ playbook, was double and tripled team. Gortat don’t stand there like your feet is in cement, go and help him.

Defense and nothing else is what lost the game last night.

Before the game, BT said this was the most important game that he ever played. So Washington knew he was coming out full force.
