The Crazy

After a year of pretty harmonic talk coming from the Wizards’ locker room a season ago, there has been some beef brewing both behind the scenes and for the world to see.

The Wizards had a player’s only meeting earlier this season, where players were able to air their grievances. However, the meeting didn’t go as planned as some took it personal and held some resentment.

Then just a few short weeks ago, Marcin Gortat and Wall got into a Twitter beef. Which went public as Wall interpreted Gortat’s tweet as a shot to the point guard.

Wall then publicly attacked his big man questioning why Gortat was talking in the first place when Wall “spoon feeds” him the easiest assists imaginable. The two reportedly met last week to clear the air, but it remains to be seen if things are jolly between the two.

For all of the good, bad, and crazy surrounding the Wizards this season, their goals are still right in front of them to be achieved. The East is still as wide open as ever in the LeBron James era.

The goal of playing in the Eastern Conference Finals is not that far-fetched. Hopefully we will see more good the latter half of the season from the Wizards.
