Washington Wizards 2015 NBA Draft Prospects Primer: The Point Guards

Over the last five years, the Washington Wizards backup point guard spot has been a revolving door.
The position has changed hands so frequently that it makes one long for the calming consistency of Antonio Daniels – since John Wall became a Wizard, he’s been backed up by Gilbert Arenas, Kirk Hinrich, Mike Bibby, Mustafa Shakur, Shelvin Mack, Shaun Livingston, Jannero Pargo, AJ Price, Eric Maynor, Garrett Temple, Andre Miller and Ramon Sessions.
That’s 12 different men in five years, only one of whom (Mack) was drafted by the Wizards. That could change in next month’s NBA draft.
With the Wizards set to pick 19th and 49th, they’re certainly not in the running for the likes of D’Angelo Russell or Emmanuel Mudiay, but this year’s draft isn’t lacking in potential options in the backup point guard role.
