Washington Wizards are heading into the 2017 NBA Playoffs with momentum, but Scott Brooks still needs his team to improve on three things.

The NBA Playoffs are officially less than a month away.

With only 14 games left, this final stretch will be a mix of the Washington Wizards trying to advance up the standings (1.5 game behind Boston), fine tuning its play, and getting players rest during games.

Another important goal that will help with rising in the rankings is going for 50 wins. Currently at 42-26, Washington needs to finish 8-6 to get its first 50 win season since 1978, the last time DC was in the NBA Finals.

In today’s NBA, true championship contenders win at least 50 games, and reach that feat in consecutive seasons.

This Wizards team is learning what it takes to win, and play strong consistently, and 50 wins is a mark that would mean a lot to the players, staff, and fans.  The regular season has already been magical – 50 wins would make it outstanding.

With just under a month left until the playoffs begin, there are many things the team needs to straighten out.  But here are three things, just to start.
