There was lots of speculation about who the Wizards would ultimately send to New York to represent the team during the lottery, but they ultimately decided to choose Beal, who they selected third overall in last years NBA Draft. The Wizards are projected to pick 8th in this upcoming draft, but with a little bit of luck, they could potentially move up higher during the lottery process.
I’m honestly hoping this is the last year the Wizards even have to determine who they’ll send to the lottery. I much rather be excited to watch the team compete in the playoffs, rather than relying on luck to add another young piece to the team.
