This transcended sports. It really doesn’t matter that the Wizards beat the Celtics in overtime.

John Wall has become the face of Washington DC professional sports and he has shown time-and-time again how much he cares for the community and those that look up to him.

Wall showed his vulnerable side with the spotlight on him and was distraught at the death of someone that he had become friends with. In his time with the Wizards, he really has become the heart and soul of the team and this was just a moment that meant a little bit more than everything that happened on the court during the year.

Fans all over the world began to tweet #WinForMiyah, showing their support for John and mourning the loss of a child. This is what sports is all about.
