10. John Wall vs Cleveland

So, let’s start with a game from this season.

The Washington Wizards have started off 22-8 now, after a fantastic win over the Houston Rockets. One more time because it’s so beautiful… 22-8! And, even though the Cleveland Cavaliers have been underwhelming thus far, this win was integral for the Wizards as a part of their hot start.

It was on ESPN, a national stage, and was one of the first games this season where people could see how far John Wall has progressed. Wall rose to the challenge with 28 points and 7 assists, leading the Wizards to a convincing 91-78 victory.

One part of this game that I was delighted at was the stretch where Wall hit jump shots back-to-back-to-back. Wall’s never going to be Stephen Curry, but there seemed to be an opinion by those that haven’t watched him that he shoots jumpers like Josh Smith from behind the arc.

Of course, this is ludicrous, as he has become a formidable threat shooting the ball, and it was nice to see him put this belief to rest, on a national stage.
