Chris Douglas-Roberts:

Now here’s an idea! Noted Juggalo Chris Douglas-Roberts signed with the Clippers last September but never was able to get any consistent run, eventually being waived by the Celtics after the Austin Rivers trade.

Douglas-Roberts only played 103 minutes total in 12 games with the Clips, but he was a remarkable pain for the Washington Wizards last season – he had a career shooting year, hitting 38.6% of his threes for a pesky Bobcats team that the Wizards just couldn’t handle.

If the Wizards are getting last year’s CDR, they’ll have themselves an athletic and capable 3-and-D player, exactly what the Wizards could really use. CDR could really help solidify the Wizards’ second unit, providing some of the shooting and defense that the Wizards have lost in recent weeks.

With the shining light that was the Rasual Butler Era fading away, the Wizards could really use another catch-and-shoot player.

Why not CDR? (Except the fact that he has a Faygo tattoo on his shoulder.)
