With players like Stanley Johnson, Sam Dekker, Justise Winslow, Kelly Oubre and Mario Hezonja available for selection, 2015 is shaping up to be a great year to draft a wing.
Sadly, none of those guys are likely to be sitting there when the Washington Wizards draft with the 19th overall pick.
But don’t fret! The second tier of wings in the 2015 NBA Draft also looks promising, with some players who could stick around in the league for a long time. The Washington Wizards need youth, and with Paul Pierce mayyyyyyyybe leaving, (and, at any rate, super old) they also need depth at the position.
Martell Webster isn’t gonna cut it. Taking a wing in the draft would make sense.
Here’s a look at four guys the Wizards might target.
