Jarrid Famous, career averages: N/A
There was once a man named Jarrid Famous. He never played a single second in a regular season game, but he’s built like a superhero and also has a really awesome name. You might think to yourself, why does he look so familiar? Because you’ve either been dreaming about awesomely built men or you kind of remember Famous from the Washington Wizards’ summer league roster.
After playing well for Washington in the summer, Famous went on to sign a 3-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks. The 27-year-old averaged nearly 13 points and over 8 rebounds per game for Washington and received interest from numerous teams. He failed to make Rick Carlisle‘s final roster, but the fact that a team like Dallas showed significant interest is telling.
Dallas didn’t need a big man and neither did the Washington Wizards. Famous was kind of stuck in a lose-lose situation. Now, though, both teams could use some extra size.
Washington might look to call Famous, who’s constantly producing #PositivePixels on social media.
But seriously; Famous has good size and is actually capable of helping on both ends of the floor unlike the aforementioned free agents. He’s still relatively young. And one thing is certain: he’s better than Ryan Hollins.
