Trade target: P.J. Tucker

With the team needing a lot of help, look for them to prioritize getting two of the coveted players.

P.J. Tucker is another intriguing option as he has proven to be one of the best bench wing defenders in the league.  He has the size and speed to guard LeBron James admirably, and strength to matchup with Kevin Love when Markieff Morris is on the bench.

In the showdown between the Cavaliers and Wizards a few weeks ago, Love abused Porter on the inside when Porter played the four with the bench.

Pairing one of the more reliable scorers (hopefully Collison) with a defender like Tucker could be the end game here.  Another complicated thing about the trade deadline is the fact that all teams are making/accepting calls. Thus, as the Washington are inquiring about 5+ players, other teams are doing the same.

However Grunfeld and the staff decide to play it out, it’s exciting to be active at the deadline, with a legit chance to advance far in the playoffs.
