Forgot About Defending the Three-Point Line

Washington had no outside perimeter defense, especially Gortat, and allowed all the Celtics to have wide-open, 3-point shot attempts.

On those second and third chances, after Boston got the rebound, they each jacked up a three, until it finally fell in.

Rebounding hurt the Wizards more than anything, and chasing down those 50-50 balls.

Washington had 45 rebounds to Boston’s 48, but unlike Boston, Washington was unable to convert those into points.

You can’t let Boston play like they’re at a 2-bit carnival – just every Celtic player coming behind the other jacking up three-pointers, off the same rebound.

Don’t give BT or any Celtic any airspace.

Boston knocked down practically 50% of their three-balls – that’s the game right there.

Avery Bradley was 3 for 5 from behind the arc. Beal you must stay on Bradley.
