Markieff Morris

Projected 2017-18 Regular Season Stats:13.6 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.1 BPG, 0.9 SPG, 46.2% FG, 80.1% FT, 36.5% 3PT

Look no further than playoff matchups against the Hawks and Celtics to see Markeiff Morris’s impact, which often isn’t seen in box score. Morris is gritty and scrappy, and he brings a toughness to the Wizards unmatched by his teammates.

However, he still consistently puts up solid numbers across the board. Scott Brooks would be wise to explore more lineups with Keef at center, which have lots of athletic potential and can stretch the defense. These combinations performed well last season, but they weren’t played consistently enough.

If he does, expect Morris to utilize his athleticism and put up career highs in rebounds and blocks. Morris is a stabilizing force in the starting lineup. He should perform well again in his second full season in D.C.
