Washington Wizards return to action July 8th. Wednesday, the team announced the final 2017 summer league roster that will compete in Las Vegas.

Basketball is back! Well summer league action at least. Washington will play a minimum of five games in the summer tournament, beginning with July 8th against the Memphis Grizzlies.

We found out the full schedule in June, but now we know the full roster, after the Wizards announced the participants on Wednesday. The team will include 19 players, including three players who finished the season with the Wizards, other undrafted players, and another player with NBA experience.

So here are the players:

Ian Baker, PG, 6-0, New Mexico State

Jared Cunningham, SG, Tongxi (China)

Ike Diogu, PF, Tongxi (China)

Jasonn Hannibal, C, UAT Roadrunners (2015-16, Mexico)

Max Hooper, SG, Westchester Knicks (G-League)

Danuel House, Washington Wizards

Isaac Humphries, C, Kentucky

Kris Jenkins, F, Villanova

Marcus Keene, G, Cen. Michigan

Sheldon Mac, SG, Washington Wizards

Chris McCullough, PF, Washington Wizards

Daniel Ochefu, F, Washington Wizards

Kevin Pangos, PG, Zalgiris

Jaleel Roberts, C, Salt Lake City Stars (G-League)

Devin Robinson, F, Florida

Jalen Ross, G, Hartford

Rayshawn Simmons, PG, Prostejov (Czech Republic)

Maalik Wayns, PG, Maccabi Rishon (Israel)

Mike Young, PF, Pittsburgh

As with every summer league, minutes will be tough to come by for some players. With 19 players, and the games being 40 minutes long, it’s always an interesting test for the head coach to manage the rotation.

Washington doesn’t have a high draft pick they are grooming, but at least four players project to be on the final rosteror a two way player. After signing Young to one of the two two-way contracts, Washington has room for one more. My first guess would have it going to Danuel House, who spent much of the 2016 season with the Wizards or in the D-League.

But there are plenty of other players with storylines, including Marcus Keene, who led Division I in scoring at 30 PPG.
