Festivus Miracle

In closing, Festivus wouldn’t be complete without a Festivus miracle. For Washington, I think we all have some similar miracles in mind for them moving forward.

Sitting with a record of 17-14, the Wizards are in a better spot than they were last year around this time, when they had a record of 13-15. So bouncing back from a slow start isn’t unheard of at all.

With that being said, I think this Washington team finally starts to put it all together in the next few months. It’ll start with a signature victory either against the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day or on December 29th against the Houston Rockets.

From there, the starting lineup will return back to its original form as one of the best starting lineups in the league. Pair that with an already stellar second unit and Washington will find themselves racing back up the Eastern Conference.

More importantly, the underdog mentality that this team was once known for will finally return, and teams will be in for a fight each and every night. Here’s hoping at least some of these come true and free Chick-fil-A sandwiches in the fourth quarter, isn’t the only thing fans have to cheer about in Capital One Arena.

Happy Festivus everybody!
