Wizards Power Forward

While not quite as glaring as the other frontcourt spot, power forward is also an area the Wizards should look to address.

Markeiff Morris has been a solid contributor since joining the Wizards, providing a complimentary scoring option. He’s in the midst of the most efficient seasons of his career, shooting 48.9% from the field and hitting 38.1% of his three-point looks. However, he leaves much to be desired in other areas of the game.

Morris has never been great rebounder, and this season he’s averaging just 5.8 RPG. He’s also failed to make an impact on defense, averaging just 0.49 blocks a contest.

Unless the Wizards intend on moving Otto Porter Jr. to the four spot, they lack a long-term solution at power forward. Morris has just one year left on his contract, and Mike Scott is a free agent after this season.

Potential Prospects: Keita Bates-Diop (Ohio State, Junior), Chimezie Metu (USC, Junior)
