The Chicago Bulls with 18 made three-pointers blew the Washington Wizards away, 113-94.
On Saturday, the Washington Wizards clinched a playoff spot after beating the Hornets. It also marked the return of John Wall.
In less than 24 hours after finishing that matchup, they were in the Windy City on Sunday to take on the Chicago Bulls.
They were without Wall (rest), while Markieff Morris returned to the lineup after leaving the Hornets game (flu-like symptoms).
Chicago was the first stop of a three-game road trip for the Wizards, who are looking to close out the regular season strong.
However, the Wizards were getting beat on back doors and at the three-point line.
I wish I could write that this was an April Fool’s joke, like the one I wrote today. But the Bulls beat the Wizards, 113-94.
Chicago also made 18 three-pointers. That’s the most three-pointers made by a Wizards’ opponent this season.
Coming into the game, Chicago was last in the NBA in field goal percentage. Against the Wizards, they shot 52.4 percent from the field.
The Wizards have to stop saying they don’t want to see Cleveland in the first round, when they didn’t want to see the Bulls tonight. Just play the game in front of you like it’s your last.
