John Wall is a leader

This was the best John Wall played all season. He almost had a double-double in the first quarter alone, 10 points and 6 assists.

Wall was a force of nature as he sprinted up-and-down the court, attacking the rim.

We’ll get to LeBron James‘ fourth-quarter run. But Wall wasn’t the best player on the floor tonight, he was the best player on any court.

But then the best player on the planet showed up.

However, the night belonged to Wall and the hard work he put in beforehand.

With all the outside noise, he kept quiet during his rehab and tonight let his game speak for itself. It spoke so loud, that TVs everywhere had their volume turned down.

Wall would have back-to-back threes in the second quarter, to give the Wizards their first lead of the game.

He finished with 28 points and 14 assists, and was perfect from the free throw line, 6-for-6.

The All-Star guard attacked the basket, knocked down threes, steals, danced with his defenders and battled in the paint for 4 rebounds.

Everything that was in Wall, he let it out tonight. He looked like the best point guard in the NBA.

He didn’t have to prove anything to anyone tonight, because it’s been clear from the start that his knees were holding him back. But nothing is holding him back now.
