On Saturday, the Washington Wizards played the Toronto Raptors for Game 1 of the NBA playoffs.

The Raptors had homecourt advantage. However, they suffered 10 consecutive Game-One losses in the first round. The Wizards were looking to keep that streak alive.

Led by Serge Ibaka, Toronto would snap that losing streak, beating Washington 114-106.

A few hours before tipoff, it was announced that Fred VanVleet (shoulder) would not be playing in tonight’s game.

According to coach Dwane Casey, VanVleet was out as a precautionary move.

The eighth-seeded Wizards were going up against the best team in the East. But anything could happen.

Starting with the freezing rain in Toronto, such that there was water leaking onto the court in   Centre and a delay to start the game.
