One game at a time

Instead of thinking you have to win four games to beat Toronto, break the problem down instead. You just have to win Game 3.

One game at a time. Because if you don’t it will appear overwhelming. Play the game in front of you.

That has been a problem for the Wizards during the regular season. They would play a sub-.500 team, think it’s an easy win and not focus on the game.

John Wall, don’t you remember during the offseason you told Beal, “We all we got bro”? There was so much power in those words.

Because sometimes I think the Wizards forget what they have.

They have two of the best shooters in the league, Otto Porter and Beal.

I’m going to write something that I thought I wouldn’t ever have to write. They have Wall who is the best point guard in the NBA. Not based on stats or rings, but what he did with the team he had last season.

It doesn’t matter whether that’s a true statement or not. But in Game 3 it has to be. If Wall believes it, that’s all that’s needed to give the Wizards a fighting chance.
