Frontcourt was outstanding
Otto “Welcome Back” Porter. He had a slow first half. But that didn’t matter. It’s not how you start, but how you finish. He tried to finish off the Raptors to open up the third quarter raining down threes.
Porter knocked down back-to-back shots from 3-point range, added a jumper for good measure, to have 8 points in a little over 3 minutes. His firepower ignited the Wizards in the second half.
He would finish the game with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 2 key blocks.
The Wizards had 40 points in the first half, but they would have 40 points in the third stanza alone.
To start the game, Marcin Gortat battled in the paint against Toronto’s bigs. He was knocking down jumpers with just as much confidence as he does taking it to the rim.
In my last article for Game 3, I devoted an entire page to the Polish Machine, because he has really come alive this series.
He was very efficient, shooting 6-for-8 from the field. He finished the game with 12 points and 6 rebounds.
Gortat can show you just how good he played this game here:

Ian Mahinmi continued to bang the boards. He had 3 rebounds and 4 points.
While Kelly Oubre was the Tasmanian Devil. He is a pesky defender, and is fearless when taking an offensive charge.
Once he was on the floor, it was almost a guarantee that he would disrupt the Raptor’s offensive flow.
Oubre got to the free throw line 7 times, and finished the game with 10 points and 5 rebounds.
Oubre’s defense was simply outstanding, and he was an integral part of the Wizards win.
While Mike Scott continues to astound. He had this buzzer-beater to knot the game at 80 going into the fourth quarter.
