Markieff Morris

Keef Morris, I don’t know if you started the DC Death Row or not. It didn’t catch on with me, but I’m not your targeted demographic.

I still believe that your game should speak for itself. Yours did louder than others.

After your surgeries you were not a full 100 percent to start the season. Nonetheless, when you stepped onto the court you gave it your all.

There were some games about a quarter into the season, where I believed Mike Scott should start over you. But my words don’t matter, because you have a special name for people who criticize you. I’m not a fan of that as well.

But I am a fan that the Wizards organization lets you be you. So I still laugh when you get into foul trouble and sit on the scorers table instead of the bench.

Last season, I wrote that the scorers table is for closers. But you pushed through your pain and setbacks this season.  So Mr. Morris, you can sit wherever you please. (Right now you’re probably sitting on the beach…).

You used those words at the beginning of the season, that it would be wasted if you didn’t reach the ECF. The time and effort you put in is never wasted. Well done.
