Washington Wizards All-Star John Wall has been given a 90 overall rating from NBA Live 19.

Over the past few weeks, EA Sports released gameplay footage and trailers to help promote the release of their upcoming basketball series, NBA Live 19. With the release date approximately two weeks away, one of the biggest anticipations for both fans and players around the world is the release of the NBA Live’s rating system.

Every year, the developers of the game give each NBA player a rating based on their overall skill set, as well as their performance from the previous season. Of the players who ratings were revealed ahead of the game’s release, Washington Wizards All-Star, John Wall, received a 90 overall evaluation from NBA Live.

Despite missing half of the NBA season due to injuries, a 90 overall from the developers of Live seems like a fair and reasonable rating. The five-time all-star is coming off the most frustrating season of his career where he only appeared in 41 games averaging 19.4 points and 9.6 assists last season for the Wizards.

Due to the disappointing season he had last year, Wall’s rating in NBA Live took a little of a dip. At the release of NBA Live 18, heading into the 2017-18 season Wall was awarded a 92 overall rating, which stands as his highest evaluation to date.

However, despite the disappointing year, EA Sports still recognized Wall as a top-five point guard heading into the 2018-19 NBA season. The only players at his position who are ranked ahead of Wall are Stephen Curry (94), Russell Westbrook (93). Kyrie Irving (93), and Chris Paul (92).

As for the NBA as a whole, Wall may find himself outside the top 10 as players like James Harden (94), Anthony Davis (94), and Klay Thompson (91) all received higher ratings.

To no one’s surprise, Los Angeles Lakers star, LeBron James, was awarded the highest rating in Live given him a 97 overall. While two-time Finals MVP, Kevin Durant, received the second highest rating with a 95 overall.
