Small forward Bob Dandridge won two NBA titles as a player in the league. After winning a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1970-71 season with Oscar Robertson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dandridge became a member of the Bullets on his second quest for a title.

He joined the Bullets as a free agent in the 1977 offseason and stuck around for four productive seasons. During the 1977-78 season, he averaged 19.3 points, 5.8 rebounds 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest en route to the Bullets’ first-ever NBA championship.

During their run in the postseason, Dandridge finished second on the team in scoring with 21.2 points to go along with 6.5 rebounds, 3.9 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.  He proved to be a formidable force with Elvin Hayes and Wes Unseld in the paint.

Through 221 appearances with the Bullets, Dandridge averaged 18.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game. He served a big purpose as one of the Bullets’ savvy veterans in the rotation. It’s no surprise his No. 10 jersey was retired by the Bucks by the end of his career.
