With their most talented roster in years, the Washington Wizards are set to have a successful 2018-19 NBA season, and several players will be in the running for league honors.

After falling one game short of reaching the Eastern Conference Finals in 2017, last season, drama and injuries caused the Washington Wizards to take a step in the wrong direction. In  2018, Washington fell to the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference and was eliminated by the Toronto Raptors in six games.

With the start of a new season over the horizon, the Wizards are looking for redemption in 2019 with the bitterness of last year behind them.
