Excited for training camp

Miller has covered the team for 11 years and this is the most depth that he’s seen.

Beal agrees, giving the offseason and President Ernie Grunfeld an “A” on paper. But we still have to prove ourselves.

He believes that this is the most talent that he’s played with, and is “curious” to how it will come together.

“As starters, we should be nervous about our jobs sometimes. Because that’s how good of a bench we have”.

Beal explained, that the starters and bench are almost interchangeable. It’s the most depth they have had at every position.

That’s an excellent thing, because it goes back to the Wizards being one team.

Dropping 51

Beal watches the Portland game, where he dropped a career-high 51 points, at least once a month. This was after the Wizards lost by 47 points to the Jazz.

He noted, that he never lost anything by 50 points, not Little League, not even 2K.

Brooks didn’t say anything in the locker room, but let’s just get out of Utah. Because if we do this tomorrow night we’re going to lose in Portland by 60.

Beal didn’t care how they beat the Trailblazers, just that it got done. He was locked in.
