3. Otto Porter Jr.

Otto Porter Jr. has worked at improving his game year after year and it’s been paying off. He’s come along way since he first debut. After his 3rd season, Wizards fans didn’t know if he was going to live up to expecations.

People are still questioning if Washington made the right move by matching his contract offer for $106 million from the Brooklyn Nets. With Kelly Oubre Jr. showing promise, it was hard to swallow spending this type of money for someone who averaged only 14.7 points per game. It shows the faith that Ernie Grunfeld and Scott Brooks have in Porter.

Porter has a lot to prove this coming season and who reaps the benefit of this? Fantasy owners. The biggest advantage that Porter will bring is his 3-point field goal percentage. For the past two years, Porter has finished in the top 5 for this category.

In the preseason thus far, Porter has played exceptionally well. He finished in double figures for the first three games of the preseason. Keep in mind that Porter isn’t even playing the full game yet.

Brooks and the coaching staff want quicker shots and more 3-point attempts, which plays to Porter’s strengths. He’s a great starter to have and a player than can fill up the stat line from top to bottom.

FantasyPros has him ranked as a top 10 small forward and being drafted in the 4th-5th round with an ADP of 54. Porter can be relied on to bring consistency to fantasy owners on a nightly basis.

Fantasy Stat Line Projection:

17.1 PTS, 7.0 TRB, 2.1 AST | 50.4 FG%, 44.6 FG3%, 81.2 FT% | 1.0 TO, 0.5 BLK
