1. John Wall
It turned out to be a disappointing year for fantasy owners who drafted John Wall with a high pick. But, don’t be concerned with the coming season because the All-Start point guard will be back at full throttle.
On top of this, Fantasy owners shouldn’t be concerned with his injury. He’s had time to heal and get his body right. Yes, he parties a little to much, but that can be expected from most of the NBA stars. With the addition of Austin Rivers and the production from Tomas Satoransky, Wall won’t be relied on to play 40 minutes per game.
Wall will be able to play starter minutes and perform at a high level. Lebron James is out of the Eastern Conference, which means that Wall and the Wizards are out to take the crown.
Wall played 27 minutes, scoring 14 points with six rebounds, nine assists, two steals and a block in the Wizards’ win over the Knicks. His shooting percentage was rough at 41.7%, but he’s just getting warmed up. Against the Detroit Pistons, Wall had 32 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists, and went 12-for-23 from the field.
An ADP of 14 and ranked 8th overall for point guards, Wall should be drafted in the first round. He’s a player that can fill up the stat line every night he’s on the floor. The Wizards did a fantastic job this offseason of providing more talent around him. It will not only boost his assists but give him better looks at the rim.
Get ready to do the John Wall dance fantasy owners because he’s going to have a top 10 fantasy performance this year.
