Scott Brooks already stated after Wednesday’s game that John Wall would not play in the final preseason game against the Long-Lions. The final dress rehearsal for the Wizards key players was against the Detroit Pistons, in which they won 102-97. Wall showed us that he’s ready by producing 32 points, 9 assists, and 5 rebounds.

Don’t expect the rest of the starters to play and if they do it will be limited minutes. The younger talent hasn’t received that many opportunities to play, but tonight they will most likely get that chance. This is their moment to showcase their talent and try to show the coaching staff what they are capable of.

The Long-Lions have a couple players you have heard of, Marreese Speights and Kyle Fogg. Speights won’t be anything special as his productive days are behind him and Fogg hasn’t been able to land on an NBA team.

The Long-Lions have some young talent that will be intriguing to watch. Point-guard, Ying-Chung Chen has made a name for himself as he’s been productive in recent games.

This will be the final game before the season opener against the Miami Heat. It will be fun to watch some of the bench players, younger talent, and individuals on the roster bubble get big minutes and prove their worth. However, don’t expect this to be much of a game. This Wizards should win by a decent amount tonight.
