The Washington Wizards head to the Oracle to take on the Golden State Warriors in what is sure to be a highly anticipated game.

The Washington Wizards are coming off overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers. It was a thriller to say the least, but great to see the team finally achieve it’s first victory.

Now, it’s time to head off to face the Golden State Warriors. This will be game No. 2 of their 5 game trip out West and hopefully the Wizards can carry some momentum from Monday Night’s win.

I’ve had this one marked on my calendar for quite some time now. There’s nothing better than seeing where you’re team stands as they go up against the defending champs.

Washington is 1-2 and the Warriors are 3-1. Golden State is coming off an easy victory against the Phoenix Suns, 123-103. Their only loss came to the Denver Nuggets in where they lost by two.

Obviously this will be a tough game for the Wizards as the Warriors are on a different level. If Dwight Howard was active then Washington could stand a chance since the Warriors lack some interior presence due to the DeMarcus Cousins being out to injury.

Don’t expect any defense to be played. This is going to be a high scoring affair that hopefully doesn’t turn into a lopsided game. The Wizards need a good shooting performance to be competitive and contend. This could get out of hand fast if the Washington struggles from the field early.

Here are the matchups Wizards fans should be eager to watch…
