Washington Wizards: The Wizards New City uniforms are fantastic

The Washington Wizards are going to debut their New City uniforms at the start of next year. Hands down they are one of the best jerseys that the Franchise has had.

I’m sure everyone has been receiving glimpses of the new “City Edition” uniforms across the NBA. The Washington Wizards jerseys are incredible!

This year continues it’s tradition of paying homage to the NBA cities that separate themselves from the rest. The Nike “City Edition” jerseys will be worn throughout the 2018-19 season.

The NBA has been releasing some of these new uniforms Thursday afternoon. Some look the same from previous years and some are a brand new look. But all the one’s that I’ve seen are fantastic.

As we’ve seen the Wizards have been working on perfecting their uniform for the past few years. It’s grown over time. We’ve gone from the blue, gold, and white, to what you see now with the red, blue, and white.

The Franchise did away with that kiddish jerseys from the days of Gilbert Arenas and started embracing the city that they represented, which brought the new logo a few years ago. Don’t get me wrong, I love any type of throwback jersey, but the gold Wizards jerseys were just bad.

These City Edition uniforms a slick, sleek, and just out right sexy. Washington should consider having these alternate jersey’s become their regular uniforms!

The District word-mark is great and I love the fact that they threw the Columbia part in there. It’s a switch up from the norm, which is always refreshing.

The Wizards are set to debut the jerseys on Jan. 30 at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Washington is set to wear these new additions 12 times throughout the season.
