4. Luke Babbitt

Some of you may not like this pick, but hear me out. I understand that Luke Babbitt has only averaged 4.8 points for his career, but the man is productive when given decent minutes.

As of now, the Wizards bench hasn’t been effective in all aspects. Babbitt could address the void in the shooting department. His career from beyond the arc is 40.2% with a 40.8% field goal average. These are good numbers!

Not to mention Babbitt has a  6’9″ build with some length to him. On top of this, he’s a big body that can play some defense.

Being crafty is another element that Babbitt can bring to the table. It’s hard to cover a left-handed shooter who can make a move to the basket.

Obviously he’s not going to get 20 plus minuets per game, but he would be more effective than Tomas Satoransky at this point, who hasn’t provided any time of spark off the bench whatsoever. I get the team wants to keep him in case of an injury, but let’s address that situation if it arrives.

For his recent teams, Babbitt has played about 14 minutes per game in a reserve role, but is extremely productive. He could easily be a spark during games that can come in score a couple buckets or knock down some outside shots for any starters that need a breather.

Good shooter, crafty, and a lefty, equal the perfect trifecta.
