The time is here for the Washington Wizards to start fielding trade offers for everyone on the roster. That begs the question, who are the most valuable assets to ship off?

It would be one thing if the Washington Wizards were losing close games, but that’s not the case whatsoever. Seven of their eleven losses have been by double digits. That’s outright embarrassing, especially with all the talent on the roster.

The Wizards are in the twilight zone. A record of 5-11 indicates that they should look towards the future, but in the Eastern Conference, there is always a chance to make the playoffs. Washington currently sits 2.5 games back of the 8th seed. This puts the team in murky waters.

Do they try to make some small moves and hope that provides a spark? Or do they get rid of bigger pieces and start over?

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, several Wizards players were involved with in a heated verbal altercation at practice.

Bradley Beal stating that he’s been dealing with these type of issues for quite some time now is a bit disturbing. It shines the light on why the team has peaked.  Another reason why the team will never land big free agents such as Kevin Durant.

Washington has entered a black hole that they won’t be able to retreat from unless changes are made. Ernie Grunfeld hasn’t done much for this franchise during his tenure, but could redeem himself a little bit with the correct moves.

With that being said, let’s walk through who the most valuable trade assets will be when the time comes.
