The Washington Wizards were able to pull off a good comeback against the New York Knicks, winning 101-100.

Washington Wizards won the game off a goaltend!

Thomas Bryant was the hero. He drove in the lane and put up a layup that was goaltended by Allonzo Trier in the final seconds of the game, which resulted in a Wizards win.

Bradley Beal led the team with 26 points and 9 rebounds while Otto Porter added 20 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Both players were instrumental in the comeback that was assembled in the 4th period. Sam Dekker gave another additional spark off the bench for team with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Scott Brooks even trusted him by leaving him in for the final moments of the game.

For most of the matchup, the Wizards couldn’t buy a shot. They shot 25.9% from beyond the arc and 43.5% from the field. Washington was down 12 heading into the fourth quarter, but were able to fight back and pull out a victory.

Washington won the rebounding, assist, and turnover battles. They are showing improvement each game in all these categories. The ball is moving better, players are covering their defensive assignments, and the chemistry is further developing.

The only individual they had trouble with all night for the New York Knicks was Emmanuel Mudiay, who had 25 points with 7 rebounds. He showed a glimpse of why he was drafted high in 2015 by the Denver Nuggets.

Not the best night for the team, but a great comeback effort. The Wizards will host the Detroit Pistons on Monday afternoon in a key matchup as both teams are battling to increase their playoff chances.

London received a great, entertaining game. Hopefully some of fans that attending were convinced to become full-time Wizards fans.
