Although the 2014 NBA Dunk Contest technically was a team competition, there was still the title of “Dunker of the Night” to give away. And that trophy belonged, unquestionably, to John Wall. In his first year as an NBA All-Star, John Wall cemented a place for himself in Wizards history forever by becoming D.C’s first slam dunk champion. In the years that’d follow, he’d win over the hearts of an entire city and establish himself as one of the franchise’s greatest players.
