Antawn Jamison

If Gilbert Arenas is going to be back out on the court, it would just feel right if Antawn Jamison was out there by his side.

After winning sixth-man of the year with the Dallas Mavericks, Jamison was traded to Washington in the summer of 2004. Along with him came some high expectations as he joined Arenas, who was still just a budding superstar. Luckily for Washington fans, Jamison more than lived to it. Over the course of his 16-year NBA career, Jamison might have spent his best years in the nation’s capital.

In the five and a half seasons Jamison spent as a member of the Washington Wizards, he averaged 20.8 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Maybe more importantly, he helped lead the Wizards to four-straight playoff births between 2005 and 2008, and even led the team in win shares during the 2007-08 season.

Jamison was always able to a little bit of everything, and his lengthy playing career is proof that he was able to adapt his game as it aged. Now, only one question remains: Can he adapt his game to fit the BIG3 competition? He may have seen a young LeBron James in the playoffs, but Jamison has never seen a four-point shot before.
