Everything You Need to Know For the NBA Draft Lottery
By Ethan Smith
No Picks Just Yet
Despite all the excitement, nobody is actually getting drafted tonight. Although, whoever gets the number one pick should start printing the Zion Williamson jerseys immediately. No, the actual draft with the picking of the players and not of the ping-pong balls won’t go down until June 20.
So What Are We Watching?
We’re watching NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark Tatum pick-ping pong balls out of a big swirling bin because that’s how we determine the future of these multi-million dollar franchises in the year 2019.
Tune in to ESPN tonight at 8:30 pm to see how things go down for the Wizards. Raul Fernandez (Vice Chairman of Monumental Sports) will be representing the Wizards on-stage. Interim GM Tommy Sheppard will also be in attendance.
Keep your fingers crossed and let’s hope we get some of that 2010 luck tonight.
