Which of the 22 players invited to the NBA Draft green room will hear their name called by the Washington Wizards?

The 2019 NBA Draft is tomorrow night, and while it’d be great if the Washington Wizards could leave with all the good NBA talent, they’ll only have one shot at selecting the next face of the franchise. Since they have the ninth pick, the Wizards don’t exactly have full control of who they’ll choose; they’ll be at the mercy of the teams selecting before them. That late in the lottery, the Wizards are probably best suited by simply selecting the best player available.

However, in a draft that’s as wide open as this one, there’s a lot of disagreement about who that will be when the Wizards are on the clock.

A lot of this year’s prospects have high upside, but not without a fair number of questions or concerns. Whoever the Wizards select, they’ll be taking a chance on them, at least to some degree. To their credit, the Wizards aren’t giving the fans, or other lottery teams, any indication of who they might have their eye on at #9.

Of the 22 total players invited to New York for the NBA Draft on Thursday night, only three have worked out for the team: Coby White, Nassir Little, and Keldon Johnson. Sekou Doumbouya visited the Wizards but didn’t show them anything on the court while he was in town. Just an interview.

With so much uncertainty swirling around this draft, we take a look at the 22 guys that will be in the NBA Draft green room on Thursday night and which ones have the best chance of going home a Washington Wizard.
