The Wizards are ready to dominate Summer League. This Summer League team may be one of the best ever for the Wizards. Let’s meet the roster!

If you want to see the Wizards be competitive enough for a championship, watch Summer League. This Wizards Summer League team is one of the best they ever had.

The NBA Las Vegas Summer League features all 30 NBA teams as well as thee Croatian and Chinese national teams. Players on each team are looking to prove that they got game to try to receive an NBA roster spot.

Every team will play a minimum of five games. Each teams are currently scheduled to play four preliminary games. Based on their record of those four games, they will either be placed into a consolidation game or enter the tournament to try to win a championship. In order to qualify for the tournament, they must be an eight seed or higher.

For the Wizards, their schedule is:

  • July 6 at 10:00 P.M. vs the Pelicans on ESPN
  • July 8 at 5:30 P.M. vs the Nets on NBATV
  • July 9 at 11:30 P.M. vs the Clippers on NBATV
  • July 11 at 6:30 P.M. vs the Hawks on ESPN2

The Wizards have a tough schedule, going up against both Zion Williamson and De’Andre Hunter. However, that does not mean these games are unwindable as their roster is deep and has star power of their own.

The Wizards Summer League head coach is Robert Pack. Pack played in the NBA from 1991-2004, including a brief stint with the Washington Bullets from 1995-1996. Pack is currently an assistant coach for the Wizards.

The Wizards roster currently consists of 14 players. However, Moe Wagner and Isaac Bonga, both traded from the Lakers to the Wizards, are not on the roster as the trade has yet to go through. The trade is expected to go through on July 6. Once is goes through, they are both expected to join the Wizards Summer League Roster.

Moe Wagner was the 25th overall pick in the 2018 draft and Isaac Bonga was the 39th pick of the 2018 draft.
