Issuf Sanon

The Wizards drafted guard Issuf Sanon 44th overall in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft out of Ukraine. Sanon was drafted and stashed overseas. He currently plays in Slovenia for Petrol Olimpija.

Sanon is only 19 years old and could be someone the Wizards add to their roster a few years down the road. For now, he will play with the Wizards in Summer League and then likely head back to Slovenia. With Ukraine’s U18 national team in the 2017 U18 Euros, Sanon averaged 19.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 3.4 steals per game.
