The Bradley Beal rumors are swirling around the league. If the Washington Wizards decide to trade Beal, here are three potential deals they could make.

Before I begin, let me reiterate that the Wizards have made it very clear that they are not trying to trade Bradley Beal. He is the team’s star player and is only 26 years old. The Wizards would love to have Beal in DC for his entire NBA career.

That said, Beal has major interest from multiple teams around the league. The Wizards are currently viewed as a rebuilding team. Beal could get fed up with not being on a winning team. While the Wizards do not want to trade him, Beal could force their hand and request a trade.

If Beal does decide that he wants to leave Washington, the Wizards would not want to pull a “Charlotte Hornets” and let him walk in free agency. This would mean the Wizards would lose a star player and get nothing in return. Beal has two years left on his contract, so he would not become a free agent until the Summer of 2021.

Beal’s trade value as of right now is extremely high. If the Wizards decide to wait to trade Beal until next summer, his value will drop as teams could view him as a one-year rental. Also, the Wizards would have to hope Beal stays healthy as injuries could lead to a massive hit in trade value.

However, when I say Beal’s value is high, I mean it’s extremely high. Multiple teams will be bidding for Beal if the Wizards decide to trade him. The Wizards asking price for the star player will be an arm and a leg. Yet, the high asking price will not scare teams away from making a deal meaning the Wizards will certainly be able to get a large amount of assets for Beal if traded.

Beal is a two time All-Star who played in all 82 games over the least two seasons, killing all the fears  that Beal can’t stay healthy. Last season, Beal was incredible, averaging 25.6 points, 5.5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

Here are three potential Bradley Beal trades the Wizards could do.
